MI v. Linda Stermer

Summary

In this retrial for the house fire death of her husband Todd Stermer, Linda Stermer again claims the fire was accidental. In the first trial, she was convicted of murdering Todd, but was able to get an appeal based on ineffective assistance of counsel relating to the arson theme put forth by the prosecution. In the retrial, a more vigorous defense is launched, but the evidence still looms over the defendant.
